Each moment in life, whether it brings up unpleasant feelings or stress, is part of the wonder that is life and is precious.

It is there to teach us a valuable lesson and our choices depend on the apprehension of this lesson. We may find ourselves repeating our mistakes or recycling patterns. This is part of our spiritual development and also a human way of dealing with deeper issues. When we avoid pain, expressing it or even feeling it, pain turns into anger or suppressed emotions. We need to embrace our sorrow as the natural emotion that it is in order to recognize the beauty of life.

There is a time for being alone and a time for being surrounded by the people you love; a time for joy and a time for sorrow; a time for being vigorous, and a time for being exhausted; a time for being safe, and a time for being in danger…
